Asia Retail Conglomerate

Project: After conducting a review of various technology solutions for contract lifecycle management, the customer was dissatisfied with their own findings. They approached KorumLegal to expedite the process to identify a relevant tech solution, and then provide ongoing support for the implementation.

Solution: We started with understanding the customer's requirements and current processes. To do this, we interviewed several key departments that the legal team serves to understand their bottlenecks. This served as the foundation of our research and we swiftly provided the customer with a range of tech solutions, previously unknown to them, that met their specific requirements and budget. The customer has identified their preferred solution and we are working with them on the implementation. We work with you to not only understand your requirement but also your pain points and provide flexible solutions to truly add value in the service we provide.

Swiss Private Wealth and Asset Management Bank 

Project: Customer had an extremely lean legal team who were dealing with complex M&A, counselling and business-as-usual document review without any technology tools beyond their email inbox. Customer wanted to implement technology to improve velocity and visibility, and to adapt and implement automated workflows within their processes.

Solution: To uncover and understand the bottleneck, we did a deep dive into the customer's internal processes. Based on that analysis, we formulated a list of technologies that would be the best fit for the customer's team. Our LegalTech consultants guided the customer through functionality and scope of the listed technologies. With our expert knowledge and the customer's needs in mind, we were able to filter through the list and select a technology that delivered optimal functionality at a price point that made sense for the size and scope of the use cases. We did all configuration and scoping work with the vendor and helped to facilitate the pricing discussions.  The final configuration has been delivered and is currently being built out and will shortly be ready for user acceptance training with the customer. 

Boutique Law Firm

Project: Customer was in the process of being incorporated and set up by its new founders when it decided to engage KorumLegal under the FLIP Lighten-Up initiative. They sought specialised expertise to re-design their firm’s user experience (UX), customer experience (CX) and some key processes, despite having no existing processes to work on. They were determined to get a couple of their intended legal offering processes mapped and optimised right from the outset, to prevent future inefficiencies from creeping in.

Solution: Our expert LegalTech consultant recommended high-level journey mapping for the UX-CX activity workflow process for them to develop the firm’s unique persona, in order to justify them turning away business in other sectors with the purpose of focusing on their specialisation. We used our Korum Process Methodology (KPM) to assess where there was value and where there was wastage in their processes, that could be addressed for optimisation purposes.  Further recommendations on using informal hacks with existing tools like excel without resorting to expensive tech solutions.
