Mark Hamilton

This month, our KorumLegal Consultant is Mark Hamilton. Mark is admitted to practice law in England and Wales and in Israel, and has 13 years of corporate transactional, financial services regulatory and General Counsel experience in large London and Tel Aviv law firms and investment companies.

1. Hi Mark! Can you tell us a little about the work you have currently been doing?

I worked for many years in large law firms in England and Israel, and as General Counsel (GC) in an investment company, specialising in technology-related corporate transactions and financial regulation.

2. What made you take the leap into working in NewLaw for ALSPs? And why is it a good fit for you?

I wanted to work with people who share my enthusiasm for innovation in legal services, and working with ALSPs often gives me insights into how to improve the client experience.

3. What's the most rewarding assignment you've ever had and why?

All my assignments are rewarding because, for me, each client and assignment is special and unique.

4. As an experienced NewLaw/ALSP consultant, where do you see NewLaw/ALSPs fitting into the matrix of the legal sector and how have you seen it evolve?

I think ALSPs have often been and will continue to be thought leaders on how to provide legal services in ways that truly meet the needs of clients.

5. What trends do you expect to see in the legal services industry in the next 5 years?

Continuous change and continuous efficiency gains.

6. What's your favourite tune and why?
