Commercial Legal Counsel | Crypto Exchange | Hong Kong l 6-Month Contract

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to join the legal team of a global cryptocurrency exchange in Hong Kong on an initial six-month contract.

You’ll cover a broad range of commercial legal matters across the business, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, procurement, advertising, sponsorships, and brokerage arrangements, working closely with global business stakeholders to manage legal risk, support complex commercial negotiations, and oversee relationships with external counsel.

The ideal candidate is a Hong Kong-qualified lawyer with 6+ years’ PQE and experience independently managing commercial contracts from drafting and negotiation through to execution. Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work independently are essential, and prior experience in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
