We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for an 8-month interim engagement supporting a global energy technology client on a high-priority, PMO-led project in Japan. This is a predominantly commercial role with a focus on SaaS contracting and employment matters, operating within a structured project environment and ensuring full compliance with Japanese laws and internal governance frameworks. The successful candidate will serve as the primary legal advisor on the engagement, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years' experience with solid expertise in SaaS commercial contracting, or adjacent sectors such as construction, infrastructure, or engineering. The ability to operate independently, engage confidently with senior stakeholders, and communicate with clarity and cultural awareness are essential.
