We are seeking a Commercial Contracting Lawyer to support a global professional services firm in Malaysia on a 6-month contract engagement. This role focuses on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, as well as working closely with the legal team to maintain and streamline ASEAN legal infrastructure, including online terms and conditions and internal policies.
The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 5-10 years' PQE and corporate or commercial experience. Strong contract and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is required. Experience reviewing and negotiating IT-related agreements, particularly SaaS licensing agreements, would be advantageous. Candidates who are available to commence in August will be strongly preferred.
